The full EPC package include system engineering, geotechnical evaluations, design, manufacturing, testing and on-site delivery for standardized gravity anchor solutions that can be easily installed and integrated as mooring for any floating wind concept at any site and water depth worldwide.
Gravity based foundations and clump weights are used as mooring foundation for floating offshore wind turbines in shallow waters and in soil conditions where the suction anchors are not suitable due to soil penetration limitations and risk. The vertical and horizontal load capacity of the mooring anchors on the seabed is dependent on the coefficient of friction at the specific site where the soil could typically be a combination of sand, gravel and silt/clay. Artifical reefs and scour protection may be included in the design.
