Enable a sustainable
future by innovation
Innovative, high capacity and cost effective foundation, anchoring and mooring solutions
The new technology is based on several key inventions that are currently being developed and patented. They could enable increased load capacity and cost reductions for offshore wind mooring.
Increased Load Capacity
The new, innovative and sustainable inventions could provide the needed technology to give our foundation, anchoring and mooring solutions significant higher load capacity.
The inventions and the technology could significantly reduce cost for both bottom fixed and floating offshore wind mooring and are particular suitable for deepwater soil conditions with soft clay.
A Sustainable Future
Offshore Wind Design AS is a new and green subsea company. Our goal and motivation is to enable a sustainable future by developing innovative and cost reducing foundation, anchoring and mooring solutions for the offshore wind industry. Our slogan is “Enable a sustainable future by innovation” and gives a commitment to reduce the environmental footprint of the offshore wind industry. By integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) in all we do and all our products, we aim to contribute to a safer and more sustainable future.
With 25 years of experience from the innovation and problem solving driven subsea oil and gas industry, Offshore Wind Design, owned by eSubsea AS, know what it takes to design, engineer, fabricate, test and safely install subsea foundation structures in all water depths and in complex soil conditions. We are using this experience and combining it with the need for large scale and standardised products when developing a new and innovative foundation, anchoring and mooring technology to increase safety and reduce cost for the offshore wind industry.
New Offshore Wind Technology
Let’s work together on your
next offshore wind project
The innovative technologies provided by Offshore Wind Design could increase the load capacity and reduce cost for most offshore wind projects. Todays conventional foundation systems are a significant cost element of the LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) for offshore wind projects. Cost reduction on foundations, anchoring and mooring could be what makes fixed or floating offshore wind projects commercially viable.
